Bing has introduced a new feature that allows advertisers to add price extensions to mobile and desktop search ads.
This year Bing have been focused on creating new opportunities for advertisers with their new Ad Extensions available on both Desktop and Mobile. To complement this, Bing have launched a new feature that now allows users to add price extensions to search ads.
Price extensions are a version of a pay-per-click extension that displays the matching price alongside the user’s products or services. If a user clicks on these extensions, they can be taken to the advertiser’s website or even a third party retailer such as Amazon. This feature allows advertisers to more effectively showcase products or services, whilst encouraging clicks through to a sales page.

Price extensions are only visible in ads listed towards the top of the mobile and desktop search results. For them to work, the price displayed in the price extension must be visible on the landing page of the product/ service. It’s also important to note that the description used in the price extension cannot be duplicated in the ad headline.
At the moment, Bing Ads price extensions are currently only available in the US. However, it is due to become an international feature this month, meaning price extensions will support several languages and currencies.
