Microsoft Advertising, formerly known as Bing Ads, announced that they will be making a number changes over the next few months to improve page load time for users and to improve tracking for advertisers.
Following in the footsteps of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising has introduced Parallel Tracking. For those who aren’t familiar with what parallel tracking is and how it works, essentially, once the user clicks on the ad they are taken directly to the landing page after clicking an ad. Then, in the background, the click measurement process happens behind the scenes. For users, this means the landing page is free to load pretty much instantly, which for advertisers means a lower bounce rate figure for advertisers.
At the moment, it has currently been made available as an option within a select few accounts, and the company explains it is set to become available to all advertisers in the very near future. If you are an advertiser and would like to make the most of this beta, be sure to reach out to your Bing Representative!
