Google Ads New Conversion Measurement

Google Ads have announced that advertisers are now able to analyse each conversion by time, meaning not only will you be able to see the date of that the click that let to the conversion, but the date of the actual conversion itself.

In an official statement, Google explain “starting today, you can report conversions and conversion values at the time they happened with new ‘by conversion time’ columns. This means that if your ad was clicked on last week and that traffic converted this week, the new ‘Conversions (by conv. time)’ column will now show a conversion for this week. Standard reporting columns will still count the click and conversion in the previous week.”

In total there are six, brand new conversion columns you can add:

  1. Conversions (by conv. time)
  2. Conv. value (by conv. time)
  3. Value / Conv. (by conv. time)
  4. All conv. (by conv. time)” and
  5. All conv. value (by conv. time)
  6. Value / all conv. (by conv. time)
