Due to popularity, Facebook has now created a new, dedicated stream within its Blueprint education program that’s focused on helping community managers make the most of their groups, and effectively managing group interactions and engagement. You have to give it to Facebook, we may see a lot of unexciting news on the platform, such as Karen’s grandchildren… but they always have businesses best interests at heart!!
What is this new stream within Facebook’s Blueprint Education Program I hear you shout?
Well, The Community Manager eLearning Program is a series of free courses that serve as a holistic guide to community management. The program is designed to help you learn how to build, scale and sustain a meaningful online community effectively and efficiently. Alongside, offering a range of elements designed to maximise group engagement. This is a definite YES if you are a business seeking to branch out into your own community groups to extend your Facebook reach. See the course options below:
Wondering if you should create groups for your business?
With up to 1.4 billion people being members of groups across Facebook these are definitely something to invest in. Not only will groups allow you to supplement your Facebook Page reach but by checking out the offered courses you can implement these methods to achieve optimal success. Off course, like everything, the risk does apply. If you build a community on Facebook via groups, you’re also then beholden to Facebook’s shifts. So if you start to rely on group engagement, and Facebook shifts focus and limits your access to that audience (unless you pay), that could be problematic.
