BREAKING NEWS FROM FACEBOOK – Facebook Business Suite has been created & launched. A new app designed to make it easier for businesses to manage in a single place their pages and profiles across Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. Now, if it is easier, we definitely want to be involved in it right?
Facebook Business Suite works by, combining access to the business’s key updates and priorities. Alongside, offering a way to draft and schedule feed posts for both Facebook and Instagram. You can also view insights and create ads. Business owners will be able to see, critical alerts and comments taking place across the social platforms in the app’s home screen.
How do you start using Business Suite?
Simply link your Facebook and Instagram business accounts. However, most businesses will already have this done. The Business Suite can then be accessed on the desktop at business.facebook.com. If you are accessing via mobile, users of the existing Pages Manager App will see an option to join Business Suite instead.
Why did Facebook create Business Suite?
During the pandemic, consumer purchasing patterns changed. Many more users said they spent more money online and 40% increased their use of social media and online messaging for product and business recommendations. Taking this into consideration, the app was a no-brainer really… Originally created for small businesses to reach customers and sell online, this app has been proved to be popular all round. Business Suite also hopes to expand to WhatsApp in the near future. Something, we are very excited about!!!
We caught up with Mabo’s Social Account Manager Ryan Metcalfe to find out what we had to say on the topic:
“The launch of Facebook Business Suite feels like an effort to streamline the services provided by Facebook, appearing to represent a more efficient way of communicating with an audience. To receive and reply to all incoming messages from Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp in one location appear to be a reasonable move that will benefit businesses of all sizes. Having additional tools for creating and scheduling feed posts alongside a more coherent insights tool has to be seen as a positive.”
