Business Development Executive
Location: Middlesbrough, Salary TBC,  Closing Date: August 31st 2018
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the online marketing industry. Within 4 years we have grown to 20 members of staff, 300+ clients and have been awarded Premier Partner status by Google in recognition of our work.
Although sales are vital for growth, retention is even more important. That is why we are constantly developing our service levels to ensure clients continue to improve their online performance and are happy with their service.
We are looking for an experienced digital sales person to join our new business team as a Business Development Executive so we can continue towards our goal of becoming “The Best Paid Search Company in the UK.”
The Business Development Executive role involves identifying current Google advertisers, making contact, qualifying their needs and then organising a mutually convenient time for them to have an online consultation with one of our senior consultants.
No direct selling is involved and your commission will be paid based on the consultations arranged. The natural career progression within the business will be to either move into more of a consultancy role or to head the BDE team. We are situated in Middlesbrough town centre, 200 metres from the train station giving easily accessible transport links.
This is a wonderful opportunity within a fast-paced industry to build a career and be part of our journey to success. The company is based in Middlesbrough town centre.
The role is full time working 8.30am – 5pm Monday – Friday; salary dependant on experience.

Web Developer

Mabo Media have an exciting opportunity for a talented developer to join one of the fastest growing companies in online marketing. We’ve grown to over 30 members of staff, 300+ clients and the responsibility for over £20m in annual ad spend.

We’re a Google Premier Partner, meaning that we get specialist training, exclusive access to Google Betas and events at Google’s HQ. We see this as an opportunity for you to be at the very forefront of technology within the online marketing industry.

As a developer with Mabo, working from our Middlesbrough HQ, you’ll be joining the development team in its infancy and have the opportunity to help mould the department, working alongside the Head of Development and the Technology Director. You will be part of the team responsible for creating automation tools and web-based software, primarily utilising PHP, MySQL and JavaScript, with the aim of improving the efficiency of our business and our clients campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good working knowledge of PHP.
  • Knowledge of MySQL relational databases.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Good working knowledge of responsive web design.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API.
  • Good understanding of Privacy by Design.
  • Willing to learn additional languages and technologies as required.

Additional desirables:

  • Knowledge of an existing PHP framework, such as WordPress.
  • Experience with source control management, such as GitHub or BitBucket.
  • Knowledge of CSS Preprocessing, such as LESS or SASS.
  • Knowledge of coding standards and style guides, such as PSR-2.
  • Knowledge of design patterns.

PPC Executive

Location: Middlesbrough   Salary: TBC   Closing Date: Ongoing – We recruit every three months.

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the online marketing industry. We manage PPC advertising campaigns for a diverse range of businesses and websites throughout the UK in order to successfully market their products/services on Google, Bing and a few other platforms, with responsibility for £25m+ in annual advertising spend.

As a PPC Executive, your role will involve supporting our PPC account managers in creating, optimising and reporting on the campaigns we manage and liaising with clients to develop new ideas and marketing messages.
