Web Developer

Location: Middlesbrough   Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 (DOE)   Closing Date: Ongoing

Mabo have an existing opportunity for a talented developer to join our R&D team. As a company, in 5 years we’ve grown to over 40 staff, work with over 400 clients and have responsibility for over £25m+ in annual advertising spend.

As developers, the paths that we have taken to become who we are, know what we know and do what we do may differ, but our vision is the same: to write code that makes a difference. With that path in mind, it makes sense that we like to showcase how we make a difference, in different ways – it could be a GitHub profile, a previous project or portfolio, or documented in a CV.

We work with a range of technologies and the opportunity to learn new skills and programming languages is ever-present. We currently work with the following technology and whilst we don’t expect you to be familiar with them all, knowledge of some items below would be beneficial;

Languages: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML & CSS.

General:

– Using Git & GitHub to create and manage projects.
– Coding standards and style guides.
– Working with external software APIs.

PPC Executive

Location: Middlesbrough   Salary: TBC   Closing Date: Ongoing – We recruit every three months.

We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the online marketing industry. We manage PPC advertising campaigns for a diverse range of businesses and websites throughout the UK in order to successfully market their products/services on Google, Bing and a few other platforms, with responsibility for £25m+ in annual advertising spend.

As a PPC Executive, your role will involve supporting our PPC account managers in creating, optimising and reporting on the campaigns we manage and liaising with clients to develop new ideas and marketing messages. Social Media Account Manager

Mabo is pleased to be able to launch their new Social Media service for 2019. Having experienced consistent growth in the industry we are looking to take on Social Media Account Managers with varying levels of experience. We manage Social Media accounts for our clients in a diverse range of businesses across the UK aiding the digital buying process, reaching out to new customers and engaging audiences.
The service includes management of the organic and paid aspects of the big five social media channels, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest.

As a Social Media Account Manager, your role will involve looking after the client from onboarding to set up. Developing a carefully written and fully informed Social Media strategy, optimizing ad accounts and applying the latest techniques to give your clients the best results possible.

Staying on top of the pulse is key to the role and at team Mabo, you will have the opportunity to have your voice heard.

The successful candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, creative drive, and a strategic mind as well as being able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must as well as the ability to develop and nurture client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 1 years social media experience within a digital marketing role and a relevant qualification.
