WHAT IS CSS?
Google introduced CSS (Comparison Shopping Services) in 2017 following a European Commission ruling. A CSS can place shopping ads and free product listings on Google on behalf of online merchants (including Google, technically a merchant on their platform).
DO I NEED CSS?
In short, yes! Everybody that wants to advertise via Google Shopping must use CSS, whether that’s Google’s own or Mabo’s service.
