Earlier this month myself and two colleagues from the Mabo Business Development Team packed up our Sunday best and headed down to London for the annual UK Biddable Media Awards.

The train journey was full of excitement and nerves as we had been shortlisted for the ‘Sales Team Of The Year’ award due to the amazing growth we have seen as a company over the last year and the hard work from our team here at HQ!

After stopping for a quick bite to eat and an hour (..or two) to make ourselves look glamorous, it was time for the show! We headed down to the Montcalm Marble Arch where we were wined and dined and quickly made friends with other businesses in the world of digital marketing.

After what seemed like an eternity of waiting as they ran through the list of this year’s nominees and winners, it was finally time for our category.

They began by letting us all know that they were not actually able to create a shortlist for this award due to how tough the competition was, but nonetheless, no other company had even come close when it came to the judges making their decision….and then they announced the winner… MABO!

I’m pretty sure everyone in a five-mile radius, let alone the show, knew who was there to collect the award, and as you can probably tell from any photos then onwards, we were absolutely thrilled – especially when we were treated to a bottle of champagne to celebrate!

All I can say is that I am extremely proud to be part of the award-winning team here at Mabo, with two award wins so far this year, we’re going to need a bigger trophy cabinet!
