Senior PPC Account Manager

We’re on the hunt for an experienced PPC specialist to join our award-winning team.

As a Senior PPC Account Manager you will be responsible for leading strategy, creating, optimising and reporting on PPC campaigns as well as communicating effectively with your clients to develop new ideas and bring forth creative approaches to marketing. You will also work one-to-one with a PPC executive to ensure your accounts have a regular flow of quality work as well as coaching the executive to help support their development.

The role involves:

  • Managing some of Mabo’s highest profile PPC clients across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Amazon Ads.
  • Holding the highest standards of PPC account management across your client portfolio.
  • Managing the workflow of both yourself and your PPC executive
  • Liaising with the Head of PPC, Team Managers and Senior PPC Trainer to provide feedback on the work and development of your PPC executive.
  • Providing one-to-one guidance and support for your PPC executive.
  • Contributing to weekly PPC and monthly senior account manager meetings
  • Being part of the recruitment process for new staff.
  • Setting the standard for what is expected of our staff members at all times.

The ideal candidate should have (and be able to evidence):

  • A good level of PPC account management experience across a range of markets/industries.
  • Good technical PPC knowledge across the range of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads products.
  • Evidence of successful strategic thinking in relation to PPC.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • An approachable and supportive attitude.
  • Experience of successfully influencing other people’s work and development.

  • Very good communication skills (particularly on the phone).

The role is full time 8.30am – 5pm Monday – Friday (including flexi-time). Based in either Middlesbrough or Glasgow (a fully remote role would be considered for the right candidate). Salary dependent on experience.
